The Walk4Hearing is an inspirational movement sponsored by individual chapters of the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA). Since 2005, Walk4Hearing events have raised awareness about hearing loss, advocated for accessibility and essential resources, and forged a community of support and connection. Xander applauds the hard work of the HLAA and is proud to have participated in and sponsored several Walk4Hearing events.

Each walk reflects the uniqueness of the local community and varies in participation, but all share a common goal.

HLAA Walk4Hearing events build community. “Together, we inspire hope and create a future where no one faces the challenges of hearing loss alone.”

In 2024, Xander sponsored the Connecticut Walk4Hearing.  The energizing and uplifting event occurred in Dunkin Park in Hartford. Impassioned community advocates and volunteers, like Cristi Alberino, made the walk memorable.

In fall 2024, Xander sponsored the event of its local HLAA chapter, the Boston Walk4Hearing.

If you enjoy being outdoors and want to engage with your community and support the mission of the HLAA, you can find a walk in your area.

Want to learn more about hearing loss? In 2025,  HLA launched a helpful  "Hearing Loss Toolkit and Action Alerts" advocacy platform.
