The AgeTech Collaborative from AARP (ATC) selected about 20 startups to be part of their spectacular showcase at CES 2025. The head-turning exhibit featured a life-sized interactive hologram and attracted thousands of visitors. Xander was thrilled to exhibit within the showcase with other cutting-edge solutions that promote healthy longevity.
Dr. Myechia Minter-Jordan, the CEO of AARP CEO, made a guest appearance on the FOX Business show, “The Claman Countdown.” That segment, CES 2025: Understanding the longevity economy with AARP," highlighted age tech innovations and “longevity hacks”—products that have the potential to help people remain independent and age in place longer.
Interview with Dr. Myechia Minter-Jordan, CEO of AARP, about healthy longevity, showcasing 3 age tech wearables on “The Claman Countdown" 2025.
Minter-Jordan showed three wearables from startups with the ATC ecosystem: Thinkie, the world's smallest fNIRS brain scanner, which monitors blood flow in the brain as wearers complete mental exercises and might help mitigate cognitive decline; the Embr Wave, a wristband that givers wearers the ability to regulate sudden changes in body temperature—providing relief from hot flashes and intense stress—which can even improve sleep; and XanderGlasses!
Xander's booth gave demos to a steady stream of group tours. We engaged with people from around the world who were interested in age tech, and others who came to our booth specifically in search of different solutions to help those with hearing loss communicate better.

Reporters and tech enthusiasts from NHK, Japan's sole public broadcasting company, included XanderGlasses as a top highlight of CES 2025. The team spent hours at our booth, interacting with the Xander team, endeavoring to create a video showing the captions from the wearer's perspective (it's not easy).

The CTA Foundation, a public foundation affiliated with the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), connects seniors and people with disabilities with technologies that improve their lives. TWICE is a B2B leader technology and consumer electronics industry. We were honored to receive awards from both respected organizations.
Connecting with Tech Gurus and AI Thought Leaders

Another highlight came when Alex was interviewed by Cheryl K. Goodman, award-winning tech guru, speaker, and author of How to Win Friends and Influence Robots: An AI Guide for Non-Tech Brilliant Minds. Cheryl became an expert in tech disruption and practical applications of AI while working at iconic tech companies like Sony Global and Qualcomm and covering tech trends at ABC—we were delighted she spent so much time chatting with us.
All in all, we had a spectacular time at CES 205. Thank you, AgeTech Collaborative!
